10.7.11

Today began with a visit to the transplant center to meet with the team (every Tuesday and Friday right now).  All things are looking good. Jim will be home from the hospital a week tomorrow, simply amazing!  He continues to improve daily and is now introducing Tylenol into the pain regiment to omit some of the stronger pain meds.  Today has been good so far with this change.  We have been so blessed with the care that Jim and Stephanie have and continue to receive from the Transplant Center here in Delaware.

We are looking forward to a weekend of gorgeous weather here in Delaware and celebrating our grandson's 1st birthday- (officially October 10th).  We will also take advantage of the weather and do some walking around our home area to continue building up Jim's stamina and strength.  Like I mentioned, he is doing great!

Another amazing event is that "our angel" will be able to fly home to Texas on Sunday, and her follow up appointment will be done, at this point, in Texas with her next visit to the transplant center in March (approx 6 months from now).

We had a lovely visit with Stephanie (our angel) and her mom this afternoon and also said our good-byes until Stephanie and Bobby return to this area (Bobby is from Hershey, PA) hopefully around the holidays. We have a great relationship with "our angel" and Bobby, and look forward to it continuing to grow as time goes on.

~Grateful for the many things done for us out of pure love,

Tina
